Founded in 2017 by Alistair Brown, LumenStream was built on the belief that energy efficiency should be as accessible as it is essential. Their pay-as-you-save model removes the upfront barriers to lighting upgrades, helping businesses cut carbon, boost performance, and unlock savings from day one. Headquartered in Belfast, LumenStream is turning energy efficiency into a practical step toward a more sustainable future.
The Need
LumenStream was growing fast, and needed its brand and digital presence to catch up. With a proven business model, it was time to crystalize their positioning, build a cohesive identity system, and create a modern website that inspires trust. Their existing brand and website, once sufficient, had become a bottleneck, limiting how the business was perceived and holding back the next phase of growth.


Brand Strategy
LumenStream delivered state-of-the-art lighting upgrades, but their edge was how seamlessly they did it, and how accessible it was through their pay-as-you-save model. Customers were buying a lighting solution, but they were getting much more: confidence, clarity (literally), and most importantly, cash flow. The brand needed to make it clear that working with LumenStream benefits everyone, from CFOs to energy and facilities managers.



Identity System
The new logo reflects LumenStream’s promise of seamless, intelligent energy upgrades. Inspired by the effortless way in which the rays of light flow, the three symmetrical arcs stand for clarity, cohesion, and control. More than a bold identifier, the logomark embodies their commitment to making meaningful energy improvements, without friction, disruption, or upfront cost.

Applications
Building on the logomark and brand strategy, we developed a full identity system and distilled it into LumenStream’s official Brand Styleguide. This practical resource ensures the brand is used consistently and confidently, so that customers, partners, and investors will see LumenStream in the best light.
